I. Product Overview:
The ZS-1018 Battery Safety Performance Comprehensive Testing Laboratory is designed to test the safety performance of batteries under various external destructive forces. The entire system allows both manual and remote control for easy, convenient, and safe operation. The laboratory covers a wide range of tests, including short circuit (at both room temperature and high temperature), internal short circuit, overcharge and overdischarge, forced discharge tests, and physical property tests such as extrusion, needle puncture, heavy object impact, collision, vibration, free fall, and high-altitude transport.
The lab includes equipment such as a temperature-controlled battery short circuit test chamber, battery thermal shock chamber, battery combustion test machine, battery heavy object impact test machine, battery extrusion test machine, battery needle puncture test machine, battery drop test machine, and other testing equipment.
II. Product Parameters
Battery Extrusion Test:
Simulates the scenario where a battery or battery pack is subjected to external pressure. The battery is placed between two flat surfaces and compressed by a hydraulic arm applying approximately 13 kN of force. The pressure on the hydraulic device can increase to a gauge reading of 2500 (17.2 MPa). Once the maximum pressure is reached, the extrusion is released. The pressure and extrusion time can be freely set and adjusted. Real-time monitoring and recording are available.
Battery Needle Puncture Test:
Simulates a situation where a battery cell or battery experiences an internal short circuit caused by penetration by a sharp object. The puncture speed, pressure, and duration can be adjusted, and the battery is fixed in place using a fixture. Real-time monitoring and recording are available.
Battery Drop Test:
This test can handle a sample weight of up to 5.0 kg. The drop height is adjustable between 300 mm to 500 mm, controlled and adjusted by a height gauge. The air pressure suction clamp system supports multi-position and multi-angle drop testing. This test is suitable for small consumer electronic products like batteries for mobile phones, electronic dictionaries, and other small components.
Battery Heavy Object Impact Test:
Simulates the scenario where a battery or cell is impacted by a heavy object dropped from a specified height (610 ± 25 mm or 1000 mm). The test ensures remote monitoring for safety and reliability, with full recording available.
Battery Combustion Test Machine:
This machine is used to test a battery's safety performance when subjected to external fire sources. It features automatic ignition, adjustable combustion time, and automatic control of the test process. Real-time monitoring and recording are available.
Temperature-Controlled Battery Short Circuit Test Chamber:
Simulates external short-circuit conditions for batteries at room temperature or high temperatures (20°C ± 5°C or 55°C ± 5°C). The device includes automatic temperature regulation, timing features, and the ability to freely set the short-circuit duration.
Battery Thermal Shock Test Chamber:
Simulates a rapid temperature rise environment. The chamber features programmable heating, making it easy to reach the test temperature within a specific time frame while maintaining uniform temperature distribution using a hot air circulation system. The system includes over-temperature protection and an automatic shutdown timer.
