I. Product Overview:
This testing machine is designed to simulate the puncture scenario for batteries under controlled environmental conditions. Tests are conducted at a temperature of 20℃ ± 5℃. A battery equipped with a thermocouple (fixed on the large surface of the battery) is placed in a ventilated chamber, and a rust-free steel needle with a diameter of 2-8mm penetrates the center of the battery’s largest surface at a speed of 10-40mm/s. The needle remains in place for an arbitrary duration as per test requirements.
