MSK-TE500 is a Pressure & Leak Tester that runs two major testings against cylindrical battery housing and its anti-explosive safety cap:
1) Pressure decay test to ensure that no electrolyte must leak out of the battery casing
2) Pressurization test to evalutate the electric cut-off and bursting pressure of the battery safety cap.
It is a necessary tool for physical evolution and verification of battery housing before final cell assembling.
Machine Capabilities |
· 1,Leak Test mode simulates an over pressurized condition inside of the battery housing and allow you mornitor the pressure decay over time. This test is to ensure that no electrolyte must leak out of the battery casing, more importantly, no moisture must get into the battery which will cause battery failure.

· 2,Pressurization test mode evalutates the electric cut-off and physical burst pressure of the battery safety cap. Dome shaped aluminum piece will firstly detach from the base contactor (cause electric cut off) and then burst when suffering from the over pressure.

· 3,Large touch panel control provides easy access to parameter settings such as testing pressure, pressure maintain time and ramp rate.

· 4,Precision pressure sensor records the real-time pressure change and draw curves
·
· 5,build-in air compressor estabilishs the pressure needed for testing
·
· 6,A manual nail penetrator is integrated to the right of the machine. A assembled cell needs to be punched before pressurization.

· 7,USB port allows you download the data for further analysis. |
